A buddy of mine bought a 73 monte carlo and dropped a junkyard 400 small block into it. I think he rigged a 300 wet shot on it. This thing was a total heap, and a boat. His plan was to double his money in one race. He lived in Atlanta at the time and found someone to race the rust bucket monty for $3k. He sprayed the **** pile not once but twice, winning both times. He doubled his money and drove it home. When he went out the next morning it was locked. Funny **** but not worth the time and effort. There is a 71 chevy C10 in my area that looks decently redone. That thing is hiding a BBC on a huge shot. Its probably the fastest sleeper I have seen in person.

I think he meant more like the W2W Nova:

My Chevelle might be a sleeper if I lay off the body work. Just gotta get the thing finished.

Car pic in sig w/ a little LS power:

That engine bay looks a little more mechanic friendly than an F-Body. I have a station wagon. Sleeper?

.

I would consider a Lumina a sleeper.

Nevermind, damn wing keeps giving it away.

oh noez VEETAAC

something about the rear tires screwed to the rims doesn't say sleeper to me. It was the first thing I noticed.
I wouldn't bet against it.
