Question is..... the ultimate goal is boost. I.E. Low compression somewhere between 8.5-9.5:1, fully forged, etc. I know this process is going to take me over a year to finally finish, including built 6 speed swap, rear end, suspension, tires, fuel system and all the other goodies. But after the motor rebuild I am seriously considering a temporary nitrous set up. Only pushing 100-150 shot. But would it be a problem with the lower compression (I've always heard nitrous loves compression). My problem is with the dropped comp. i know my power band will drop significantly, so I'm looking for a little something to make up for it. The spray will be used very conservatively and a proper tune will be included.
I just want to make sure this is a safe option for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also, no spraying through the shifts.
