Default MPH Gain on nitrous

i dont think i am picking up enough MPH on spray.

i went to BMP thursday night for what may be the last hurrah for my car. ive never made a full bottle pass and i wanted to see what it ran.

on the motor it went 7.509@91.96 and 11.77@115.20 , both personal bests for the car.

on my '150' tune up it went 7.930@96.32 and 11.96@122.14 . Obviously i blew the tires off but i think it should be picking up more than 5/7 MPH in the 1/8 and 1/4. i was expecting a 8/13 MPH gain.

unfortuneatly the only gauges i have are the stock ones in my mustang. no fuel pressure/bottle pressure and i did not have my TECH2 with me to record the run to see if i was getting knock and watch timing ETC.

Fuel system is a high pressure 255 Walbro, -6 lines with vette filter and stock 98 fuel rail.

Autolite 103 plugs

No timing retard, i did mix 50% 110 gas to be safe

Kit consists of a 10LB High flow bottle, -4 feed line to noids, cheater noids, -3 lines to a single older fogger nozzle (same ive used in my mustangs for years), N jet 63 F jet 38, full bottle (i just weighed it 21 LBS after 1.5 passes)

although it was cold last night i had the bottle on the passenger side floor with the heat on full blast for my hour drive to the track. bottle is inside the car and felt warm to the touch.

combo is a 98 LS1 with a TSP 225, yank 3600, full exhaust and 3.73 gear.

the car felt like it did one other time i sprayed it (7.76@96.17 and 11.748@120.14). agian 50/50 mix of 110. that time the bottle had only 6 lbs in it.

sorry for the story just trying to be accurate to pinpoint problem, thanks for any insight since this is my first LS1.

What kind of tire are you running? I'm assuming something decent since your 1/8th mile ET looks good.

the tires/suspension sucks. Nitto DR 245/45/17 on all stock 4 cylinder mustang suspension. its actually quicker on the motor than it has been on spray so far. best 60 on motor is 1.69 - on spray the best is 1.97. i also THINK i come out 'too easy' when i spray it which does not plant the suspension/tires. every bottle pass i am spinning bad before i even spray it whereas on the motor i 'hit' the converter harder and get the car to transfer.

i am changing back to stock length axle (from LSC) to run a normal offset drag rim with my 26 by 10 ET Drags for the track.
