Default purge switch

What kinda switch are most of u using with ur purge?.....I dont wanna get another relay for the purge alone, and since the purge button is only used for a few seconds i would think u dont NEED a relay.....So for those of u without a purge relay what kinda switch are u using and where did u get it?...I searched and didnt get a real good answer...lots of people say its ok others say its not.

Radio Shack Momentary, a two pack is under $5 and includes a red and black switch. Nitrous Outlet has a nice Purge switch as well.

Can i "Y" the power to it from one of my other buttons like the arming switch or something? or should i run a seperate power to it?...and thanks for suggestion!!

Yes I Y'd mine, although the purge switch was the end of the Y line.

Thanks man...i went ahead gave it its own power.....i didnt think those lil momentary buttons were gonna work cause they are like .5 amps....but it did the trick.

I was told to use a relay because of the amp draw of the very high pressure solinoid. A relay only costs about $5.00 and should be used.
