Bottle pressure 800 vs 900psi
What would dropping the psi by 100 do? If my car is tuned and setup for 900psi and a 150 wet shot through a plate would it still run the same times if it was retuned for 800psi and a 150 wet shot through the same plate.
I know changing the bottle pressure effects how lean it is but I want to know if it makes a difference with the tune changed to keep the a/f the same on both passes just different pressures.

IF you reduce the bottle pressure, it will fatten the tune up. Not sure why you would want to decrease the bottle pressure to that level, but you will probbaly have to rejet the kit to flow more nitrous to make up for the lack of pressure if you want to be able to run the same times at a lower PSI.

Im just trying to get the best nitrous pass possible. Its easier to keep a bottle at 800psi vs 900-1000psi for longer. I know if the just lower the psi it will get richer, Im talking about re-jetting and re-tuning the car to run at 800psi vs 900psi would it still run the same times?

The jet flows X cfm @ X psi, so less nitrous pressure, less flow through the nozzle, smaller HP worth of nitrous out of the nozzle. I wish I could find a relation between either BTU or Oxygen content and what its worth HP-wise to a motor and then I could give a better answer. I would step up the jet a size and see how that affects hp output @ 800 psi. Through a wetplate though you have to check your fuel side but I am sure you already knew that.
