I am about teady to start my 346ls1 engine and I have the 6ls ignition baox and a 750 carb. I am used to running SBC and BBC with Crank triggers and dummy distributors . I usually set them at 36* Locked out. Then retard the timing a set amount with a retard box! !!! I want to do the same on this engine as I am going to be spraying nitrous to it.
What should the Timing be set at??????
I hear that the chips advance the timing to far, And I do not want the timing jumping around while I am pumping nitrous to it!!!! Thanks!!
