Default LS1 Nitrous Set-up

Need some good advice on what kit to buy for my car. I have two choices, the first is the dynotune 150 wet nozzle set-up for 400.00 or the nitro daves plate kit for 650.00. Never had nitrous so any info would be awesome. What is a must to get started and be safe. I know I need a window switch, a different arming switch, a bottle heater, but what else? My car is a 2000 SS M6 with complete bolt-ons, tr224, suspension, and a moser 12 bolt w/ 4.10 gears. What some pros and cons for each kit. Thanks

Would it be ok to buy a used nitrous kit or is that a bad idea? I can basically save around 200 dollars.

Well if your car has been tuned it probably has had the timing bumped up.so you would need to have a way to pull timing when on spray.Get a purge kit to make sure the nitrous is there ready to go when you want it. Then you might want to get a fuel pump to be on the safe side since you have bolt ons and a cam it might be maxed out on spray. The racetronix plug-n-play will work. Also a fuel pressure safety switch in case the pressure drops it wont let it spray. Then the items you listed.I would go with a plate kit instead of a single nozzle for the better distribution into the intake.Good set of tires and have fun

It depends on how much its been used. Out of the two options you posted I would take the plate from Nitro Daves. They are great guys to deal with. If I were you I would call them and see what they recommend. I always deal with Chris and he has been alot of help. I'm sure Robert will chime in and say go dry and that's not a bad option either. Just know that you will have to get bigger injectors and a tune will be required. Dry is a little more expensive but it is definately the safer of the 2. The wet vs. dry thread has some good info if you want to check it out. Good luck with your build.
