Default what size shot is my kit putting out

ok ive searched for like 20 min, i have a nos kit with the regular small dry solenoid and its on a single nozzle with the blue colored nozzle, it had a 42 jet that was not at all noticable, and last week at the track it ran quick to my new best a 7.4 anyway, this was with no jet, what size is this, roughly,
all i could find was that the small nos brand only puts 110-125 at the wheels fully open like mine. any thoughts?

Probably around a 125 if your pressure is at 950 psi and probably around 135-150 if your pressure is at 1150. At this point you can use bottle pressure to raise and lower your shot size a bit.

if you want more hp and your limited by some restriction (solenoid in this case) pressure is your friend with a dry shot. So yes...if you want more power...up the pressure.

A better solution though is just to dump the single powershot noid and get a cheater size noid. Something that will flow 250 or more. Dynotune, Nitrous Outlet and Harris all have great deals on a single noid. Just wire it in to your existing wires and use the same unions and put it in place of the one you have. That way...when you put a certain size jet in...youll be getting a certain size shot. And you wont have to fight to get your bottle pressure up to 1200 psi everytime you want to go fast. not to mention pressure loss and HP loss during a run when you have a start pressure of 1200 psi.
