Default Final dry kit nitrous questions

Ive searched and searched and read my eyes blind..

i sat on my nitrous kit for over a year now too scared to put it on..

but i finally think im ready.. I have everything i need

FPSS
window switch with tps sensor
wot switch
bottle warmer/pressure sensor for that
blow down tube
gauge
lines, wiring, a nozzle, ect

well my final questions are..

I have one jet that is a 90 degree angle..
im not 100% sure on where i should drill to mount it.
i was going to try put it almost mirroring the IAT sensor? the only real instrucitons i have seen are for the kits with 2 nozzles that spray straight and you just put them in the side of the lid..
and i also saw people with one nozzle that sprayed straight and it was in the side of the lid.
Does someone have a picture of how they mounted a single 90 degree nozzle and got good airfuel mix readings?

i am just really nervous about spraying my car and messing it up by doing something stupid. Im not worried about it breaking, i can fix it, but if i can help it id like to avoid it.


THe other thing is, i read all about how my stock 98 fuel system was good to 150 shot and i didnt need to upgrade my injectors of fuel pump..
I only want to run a 75 shot.. maybe a 100 after i get comfortable with my setup.. I felt confident with proper nozzle placement and all the right equipment i could be fairly safe doing that.
then i had someone tell me tonight that i was dumb for thinking i could spray over a 35 shot on stock fuel and i was going to shortly blow my motor.. and i should convert to a wet system.
Seeing as i have everything for my dry system i really dont want to do that, expecially after searching and reading that i assembled a fairly good dry starter system. Just wondering if the guy i talked to is as silly as im thinking

I dont have a wideband yet, but i was going to take my car to the local reputable shop to get them to stick a wideband in it and put it on the dyno to make sure i was good on a/f ratio and i installed everything correctly before i sprayed the **** out of it

i would get a dynotune af lean shutdown switch. i never cared for the fpss but it was better than nothing. that's about it.

i don't think there is a definite spot for any dry nozzle. i played with my nozzle(s) last year for months and never got a 100% good spot. this was using a wideband and hptuners.

98's have larger than 99 and 00 injetcors and should gnerally be ok but you won't know unless you are logging afr and/or injector duty cycle.

i'm doing what would be considered overkill on the safety devices but it makes me feel better. i'm a proponent for a wideband and hptuners or efilive to log datat but many do go without.

if your engine is healthy and you pop it, you're going to want to get the safety devices for the next engine. i would be safe now and try to ride this engine as long as possible and all the safeties can be used again later.
