?? on a dry shot
With the Gen 3 (LS1) you just spray throu the MAF. Right? Thats where the fear and questions set in.
How far away does the nozzle need to be from the MAF?
What if the MAF is de-screened?
How big can I go?
How safe is a blow through dry shot set up?
I just want to make sure that I have
and not
My MAF is descreened, and you are suppose to descreen it when you run a dry kit (forget the reason for this...).
You can safely run a 125 dry shot on a stock motor with stock injectors and stock fuel pump.
Kit is very safe. Get a window switch and WOT switch and you're good to go. I took off my FPSS, they are junk!

Im going to run the N2O on on a GMC 4.8L and I have a LONG intake tube. I moved the MAF closser the the TB so if I mount the nozzel at the filter I will have over a foot befor the MAF. Im going to be using a fan type nozzel unless you have a beter idea.
You'll run into problems with surging, the nitrous cutting in and out, or just not working at all like in my case. They are huge pains in the butt and not worth the time.
I use MSD's window switch, on at 3k off at 5.8k.
flag on this. I tried it on a dyno with wideband O2 and it doesn't safely work. Your air/fuel is no where near the 11.8-1 where it should. Mine was more like 14-1 with the 125 shot, plus my injectors were maxed out....Trending Topics
