Default Nitrous ?

I am really intrested in nitrous, and I'm kinda clueless about it. I was thinking about like a 50-100 shot, but I don't really understand the terms "dry" or "wet". Do I have to have a tune with this? Do I need to upgrade my fuel pump and injecters?

WELL. First off do you plan to ever spray more than a 125?
If not "DRY" is a great easy safe system. It sprays before the mass air flow sensor witch signals the injectors to spray more fuel. There is realy no need to upgrade the fuel system or tune it if your only spraying a 100 shot. Now a wet system goes in after the mass air and adds its own fuel. If you stay around 100 shot there is realt no need for upgrades or tune. now when you step up to around 150+, you will need to upgrade the fuel pump and get the car tuned to be safe. Both system are great.
I have a 100 wet on mine, I plan to step it up to 150 then 200. Alot of people are running dry systems that high too. But for a small shot, DRY is simple and easy...

Alright I like the sound of nitrous. I'll probably stay under a 100 shot, bout 75 to be exact. The olny ? I have now is which is better wet or dry. I kinda leaning toward the dry. I like the way it looks when someone purges their system too.

It's always good to get a safe tune to pull some timing if needed. there is always a wet or dry argument. do a search and you will find plenty of threads with helpful information.

i sprayed 100 dry on stock injectors for a while and was perfectly fine. its always good to have a wideband to monitor your a/f while spraying. www.dynotunenitrous.com offers a product that will shut off your kit if you start running lean. they also have good prices. hsw and nitrous outlet are also a very good way to go when purchasing a system.

either one (dry or wet) is a great set up. IMO, with a dry system you could hide it very well.
