know little about Nos.Can anyone give me a direction? What brand set-up and what size shot would do the best job for raising rwhp by 100 or so? I've decided on Nos rather than blower because I don't want to chance frying my pistons w/vortech or magna. Now,my only mods are Blackwing & Predator.

 

If your going with NOS BRAND nitrous products, as you mentioned, then just call them directly for your particular application. No one can answer it better than them directly. I believe their tech line number is (714) 546-0592

its just me ,i'll go with NX if u want wet kit or NOS for dry(easy to hide in vette),,

 

Yeah, I was referring to the application specific kits they offer. They may have one intended only for the LS6 or Vette. PlayaZ6, You should give them a call

The application specific kits are easier to install and have the right amount of "safe" power that could be added to your car. They come with all necessary hardware, etc. and instructions for your exact make/model with pictures (the best part).

 

and not to plant the seeds of doubt here but... you could just as easily fry a piston with nitrous as any other poweradder. if done properly/safely though nitrous, turbo, or blower would get the job done safely. it just depends if you want to pay all up front (turbo, blower) or over time (nitrous). if you want something just to play around with sometimes nitrous is usually the best way to go but if you are serious about making power all the time then a turbo/supercharger might be a better choice
