I'm back to the other dark side! Couple Q's.
Hey guys, used to have a catback, lid HSW dry kit on my old Ws6, sold that and now have another Ws6. Mods are stock head port job, TR227 cam, ls6 intake, NO2, M6, full exhaust.
My questions are about the No2, it's a TNT wet kit. I'm very unfamiliar with wet kits as the one I had was a dry. It has a blue ring or collar in front of the TB with the jets going into both sides of it.
Does the same fuel system requirments transfer from dry to wet? I know that H/C cars usually are tuned for more fuel to begin with and this car is on the stock injectors and fuel pump. I did a search and couldn't get the question answered. Is there a chance of running lean on a 150 shot with wet kits...or does the fact it's a wet kit nullify that?
Also just curious what most people are spraying their car at, rpm range? It has one of those msd window switches where you put these plugs in it to tell it what rpm to come on and go off. Had a digital one before.
Any random advice for this kit?

fuel system requirements will be the same minus the injectors required for a dry. however, since this is a h/c car you might need bigger injectors anyway. only way to realy check is to log a few wot runs. personally i would not spray a h/c car without some sort of fuel system upgrade but the only way to realy tell is to get a wideband and once again, do some wot runs. tnt rates thier jetting at 900 psi bottle pressure and shoots for 11.5 afr. as far as a window goes, try not to spray before 3k and depending where you shift at will determine where you shut it off. just make sure you shut it down before your limiter hits. fwiw, i engauged mine at 3k and shut it down at 6800. my cam peaks at around 6400-6500 and i shift at 6600. my rev limiter is set at 7k. hope that helps.
you could still be running lean and still have fuel pressure. don't cut any corners. do it right and you will be safe and have a good time doing it. kinda like wearing a rubber with a hot *** call girl!!!!
