Well, I guess BadZ picked up this kit already..... but anyway, can someone tell me the differences between how this system works as opposed to the forthcoming NXL kit? Is the NOSZLE kit just as easy to install?

 

It works the same way except that NOS has perfected it and NX has not....I guess you can say there is an experience barrier here as well and then other company's try to follow suit....

The Noszel is just as easy.

 

...but the NOSZLE kit is more expensive? Hmmm, I wonder why I haven't heard about it as much as the NXL. I've been kind of waiting for the NXL so far because I didn't think there was anything else on the market like it (direct port with a somewhat easy install without tapping the intake.) So you think the NOSZLE kit is the best then?

 

I have done some research and found that the dates were pushed back on this NXL system because of certain problems as this is a new break through for NX and its been perfected first by NOS. Some of the fastest pro stock cars run this system and also some of the fastest ls1's in the US also run this system and IT WORKS GREAT, no questions about it.....The first to have the nitrous kits were NOS and the first to have the injector type direct port system's were NOS also. They have been around much longer then the rest and have the $ to back up all R & D cost...Also it helps to be owned by Holley..Hmmm, I wonder how long that Co. has been making things for the performance car??? I'm sold...

 

The biggest difference between the NXL and the NOSzle is the fuel/nitrous rails. The NOS system runs the soft lines up to more or less "traditional" distribution blocks, while the NXL system took this one step further and gives you a high-flow integrated nitrous/fuel rail that also feeds your injectors.

The NOS system has the solenoids mounted wherever you put them, then a fitting/line to a junction block, then the individual lines to the NOSzle units.

The NX system mounts the solenoids directly into a unified rail that carries the primary fuel for the injectors, fuel for the NXL nozzles, and nitrous for the system. This rail replaces your factory fuel rails. It still uses soft lines, shorter because of the rail position, to deliver the fuel/N20 to the nozzles.

In practice, the systems should work pretty much the same. The NX should be easier to install, as it will be packaged with all the correct connectors I'm told, and your solenoids are already mounted. Plus you get the freebie benefit of a high-flow fuel rail.
