Default What Is Nano Pressure Set To?

What is it set to and is it adjustable? I know that they say that you should rejet after insalling the kit but if I can adjust the pressure to 900-925psi, which is were I run my psi with my bottle heater, then nothing should have to be rejetted. Please let me know if this sounds right. Thanks.

From what I was told, you should go down on your jets 20% if you wish to stay at the same power level. The reason you get more power is because the pressure is held constant and it will allow more power to be made at the higher rpms. This is different than your typical system where your pressure starts off where you want it and falls for as long as you have the system running which effects the ratio of nitrous to fuel.

Anyone please correct me if I wasn't clear or giving incorrect information.

The Nano is set at 1050 and that makes the N2O bottle pressure about 950. The Nano system pushes "liquid" N2O out of the bottle so you get a true effect of the nitrous. When a N2O bottle is heated the nitrous turns to a gas a propels the nitrous out of the bottle so you get less of an effect. That's why you jet down on the N2O side.

Nano told me that the psi would be 1050 until the solenoid opens then it would fall to 950 but my only concern is that I dont know if the 1050psi will be to much pressure for my little zex noids to open, the ones in the purple box. I asked them what my in cabin pressure reader would be at with just the bottle on and they said that it would be reading anywhere from 1050-1075psi and I think thats just way to much for my little noids. Has anyone actually done this to see what the pressure actually is when you open the bottle? Thanks.

the topic of downsizing n20 jets using the nitrogen push system, is this to prevent a possible lean condition because of the normal drop in bottle pressure hiding this underlying condition (make sense ? haha).

i asked "why" downsize jets, and i understand the pressure drop thing, but using a wet nitrous system do YOU think it is REQUIRED to downsize the n20 jets for saftey or what?

i ask because like everybody else, i dont' want to hurt the motor.

thanks in advance for the help

Nick,
I was told by Tom at Nano.
With the Nano system you will flow 20 perecent more nitrous through the nitrous jet than usual. The reason for this is that with the liquid nitrous being compressed the flow is 100 percent real nitrous.

The way for tunning for this change is to lower your nitrous jet by 20 percent or raise your fuel jet by 20 percent. Nano likes to suggest lowering the nitrous jet so that you are still making the HP you were looking to make instead of making more HP than you were looking to make.

Thanks for the info but from what I can gather from what nano is saying and showing is that a full 10lb nitrous bottle for the first 30sec or so, is the same performance no matter if you are using a pusher or heater. So I ask my self why should I have to rejet if they are both the same for the first 30 sec with a full bottle. The pusher system will just keep it the same as the first 30 sec for the entire bottle. Right? I know it sounds confusing but Im just not quit understanding the reasoning behind the 20% down sizing. I find it hard to believe that with a completely full bottle and a heater that we are not getting 100% nitrous. Has anyone actually dynoed there car without changing there jets to see what actually happens to the a/f with a pusher system. Maybe I should start a new thread, LOL. Thanks again to all for your inputs. The members and this site is always very helpful.
