Default IAT Mod Reliability

I have a HSW kit that I am putting in my car in a couple days. It's going to be a couple of weeks before I am going to be able to get a tune. Has anyone actually been using the IAT tricker mod for a while without any problems? From what I have read, it will only put about three degrees. Is this enough? I am planning on using a 100 shot with TR6 plugs. It's going in an '01 Corvette.

Why not use HSW's Interface, a modern day IAT Tricker. Check out the Interface intro thread and you'll see the old tricker methods are so obsolete. In my personal web is tricker info up the ying yang if you would like more insight.
