Default Nano/pusher Jetting ?

Has anyone actually dynoed there car with a nano pusher system to see if it really needs to be re-jetted or can you run the standard jetting with it? I keep hearing that when switching to a pusher system that they recommend a 20% downsize on the nitrous jet. I don't know why you would have to do a re-jet if both the pusher system and bottle heater both run the same for the first 40 seconds and all the pusher system does is keeps it at the same pressure as the 1st 40 sec all the way through.

It is necessary. And having a push is not the same as having a heater. When the noid opens and nitrous begins to flow...there is a LARGE pressure drop with a heater only. That pressure drop is much reduced when you have a gas maintaining that pressure.

A buddy of mine flowed his SX2 kit with the pressure switch/noid setup like I use...it was WAY off on the jetting.

So yes...follow NANOs recomendations.

what would happen if you just up the fuel side by 20%? My zex kit already runs rich as hell.

Here is a good read that I posted on our technical board. It will explain why the jetting changes and how Nano system works.
