Ok I have a 2 stage kit nos mini, with a dedicated. When I use the first stage everything is fine air fuel is 11.5. going downt the track. but with I use the 2nd stage and let it come in 3 sec after the first stage my air fuel goes to 12.5 then down to 11 and back up to 12 and 13 then the wide band goes blank with flat lines accross. I log it it with hp tunners and it loses the read when the wide band goes blank. I probally need to get it on a dyno again and get an accurate read. Do the aem sensor go bad or do you have to clean them or do i have too many 90s in my set up and its going lean and making the wide band go blank. Any help would be great
Does sound as if your going lean, but have to make sure the WB is not on the blink. The WB should be able to report lean a/f to like 20.x:1, so... Leaded race gas can shorten the sensor life that's for sure. Your on a stand alone fuel cell?

yea using daves with 116 fuel with 11 psi low pressure. I thought about taking the sensor out and cleaning it or does that even help. On motor the car ran fine going down the track wide band was good. I shut the 2nd stage off and ran the 1st stage only it ran a 10.5 @126mph and the air fuel was around 12 then when I use the 2nd stage on the last run it pulled like crazy but at the 1000 ft mark the wide band went blank and like I said the air fuel was going crazy 11 up to 13 .5 then just lines across. Im just doing a 100 shot in both stages.

I used to have an AEM wideband sensor, and it also would blank-out if it saw any lean spike, or rich spike. It drove me crazy because it would blank out right when you needed it!!!
I switched to an LM1 and haven't had a problem since. Like you already said, you could always go to a dyno too.
