where is the best place to wire in these red 12v power source wires from the toggle switches (arming switch and purge switch) on a2001 Trans Am?

 

If you're wanting a 12V constant you can pull it from the orange wire on the cig lighter, or the 12V output below the E brake (also orange). If you need a switched source you can pull if from the ACC port in your fuse panel, or one of the pink wires under the dash that is coming out of your steering column.

 

got mine on the fuse panel. Test lights come in real handy when you are installing electrical parts.
