Motor Flooded to Hell
OK, so I think I've finally figured out my problem with my 2001 T/A not wanting to start. I posted a thread on Gen III External Engine titled Won't Start. So here's what I think is/was wrong. I installed a dual nozzle wet kit from Cold Fusion Nitrous-looks bad azz. where I ran into trouble was when I wired up the power wires from my toggle switches (arm and purge) I had the power wire on my wide open throttle switch on the wrong prong (top not middle) thus when I turned on the ignition the fuel solenoid was wide open spraying fuel into my throttlebody and flooding the hell out of my motor. I pulled the oil dip stick and I have fuel in my oil. So now I'm going to drain oil and pull the plugs then turn the motor over to dump the fuel out of the cylinders. Hopefully the car wil start up after all of this. Does anyone have any ideas as to what else I should do before trying to start it back up? Any help wil be appreciated!
I had the same thing happen to me when we installed my kit. Not sure how bad yours is flooded but if you floor the car, I think it tells the computer to not give it any gas. Thats what I had to do and it started but was a little rough run for a short time. I reved it up a few times and it was fine!
