Is it a must for a tune??
I'm looking to get a simple 100 Wet shot kit. Stock fuel pump could handle that right? Well is a tune a must? Just seeing if i can get by without it. Is it common to just randomly go lean while spraying?
Should i just find out my current a/f ratio while WOT and then decide if a tune is needed..thanks guys

Just wing it. If she blows, she blows, right? With that said, you might want to do some more research, phone calls, e-mails, ect. Even if you TRY to play it safe, something still could go wrong. So why not eliminate as many possible problem areas as you can.

Here is my plan.... after I'm done installing my kit...I am going to get on the dyno and check the A/F ratio for the jets I plan on using..50, 75, 100.... also, I have a Diablosport Predator that I can monitor knock on and remove timing if needed.
So, I will be monitoring things..but it won't be tuned...unless it starts to get KR.

This is often the thinking on wet hits, that they don't need to be tuned. Not true, wet or dry we need to tune for the spray. Timing and a/f are the main items. it's really cheap insurance to make sure it's properly set-up and then you will live a long sprayed life. that's prob one of the reasons nitrous gets a bad rap about destroying things, because to many guys just put the jets in and go, The jetting rec is just that, a starting rec and every car will run a little different on the same jets, though they are usually on the safe side for a stock car, but no gurantee. I vote tune it, at least log parameters then you'll know if further tuning is needed. A little timing pull is smart also.
