I may be completely wrong but the system doesn't have much PSI. The Holley blue pump he is running only has a max PSI of 14, so I don't think a return line is necessary.

Am I right?

Yeah, you're right. This is essentially a carb fuel system, which doesn't utilize a return line. I have a similiar setup in my car, though I have a fuel cell with a rollover vent and braided lines.

yeah but dont fill it too much lol...leave it about 2 inches from the top. it builds too much pressure and vapor locks blowing th cap off. i put a expandable pipe plug in the top in place of the plastic cap, and drilled the hole for the vent bigger and put some vaccum hose in there to vent it out.

seems to be holding a lot beter (i used a 2" pipe plug, but a 1-7/8 would fit better)

Thanks, will do. For those thinking about safety, the turbo guys have been using washing res for years for meth. As for a crash, the aluminum tanks would probably fare no better, imo.

What if you ran a hose from the place you tapped into the tank to the bottom of the tank to pick up there instead of the top?

Does that make sense?
