need help wiring efilive 2step with nitrous
need help wiring efilive 2step with nitrous I have a basic nitrous kit wired up. nothing special. Just a system on/off (2 pole switch) and a WOT switch.
I also have efi live cos3 with the 2step. The way that works is a wire from pinout 56 of the pcm just needs grounded to turn on the 2 step.
Currently I have the 2step ran to a momentary switch that acts as a system on/off. Then it goes to a relay that ties into the brake light switch. The way it works, is if i press the brakes and have the momentary switch on the pcm will be grounded until i release the breaks or release the momentary switch. That way I can launch the car off the foot brake and then turn off the system by releasing the momentary switch when I feel like it after the launch, but before I hit the brakes again.
What I need help on is getting the nitrous system tied into the 2step system. I cant think of how to do it. Every way I see in diagrams would send 12v to the pcm pin 56 and i dont want to do that.

12 volts to a relay coil (pin 86) then pin 85 will go to the pcm input off the momentary switch.That will give a controlled auxillary contact from the 2-step control. Is that what your after?
Easy as pie. From your diagram move the wire on terminal 30 to terminal 87. Now connect the ground wire to terminal 30. Using a new realy wire 12+ to one side of the relay coil (terminal 86) and then connect the new relay coil other connection (terminal 85) to terminal 87a of the two-step relay. Now you have a controlled contact that only operates when the brake is off and the two-step is inactive.
