No problem. It looks like it was time for springs anyways. Atleast they were dual springs and you did not bust a piston.

autolite 103 plugs = ngk bp7efs plugs have looked fine.

you guys run these times more than i do.
I don't know where guys got this idea they can tune by knock. take them off the car and throw them in a field tune from the spark plugs. i have melted pstons and showed no knock!

when i look at my PLX wideband on the street, it showed 11.9 on the bottle. dynojet showed 12.5ish. so, which one would be correct?

either way, i'm changing to autolite AR-94 plugs and i'll drop the timing some more.
put it around 12.2 and cut a plug down to read it. get your self a battery operated cut off grinder. on a 250 you need to be on a ngk 10(or equivelent) -9 degrees from base timming. a/f needs to be read at the track not on the dyno to get the correct load.

Yup, i've destroyed plugs and beat the **** out of the pistons with the debris and no knock to be found in my logs! No longer have knock sensors, not necessary, threw them out, saves a little weight I guess, hahahah!
