Default The Nozzle that goes under the Injector

is there any down fall to using these. What are the advantages and disadvantages. i have the nozzles already but am thinking to going to the kind that you have to drill into the intake. its on a lt1 and i just cant decide i plan to run a 200 shot through the system let me know what you all think

A direct port system is nice if you plan on going with a huge shot but if not then just use a nozzle. Do a search for "direct port" and "nozzle" and read up because judging from your post I do not believe you really know the differences yet simply because you didn't know what to call them. We have knowledgeable people here and I'm sure you will find very useful info if you look around and read. Thats basically how I learned all my stuff is from searching everybody else's posts.

We have done more directports than I can remember. We have done quite a few using the under the injector nozzles. I am not a fan of them. I prefer a traditional style nozzle in the intake. The under the injector nozzles offer different conflict. Some brands can block injector flow and others pull a 3lb vacumme on the injector. This creates a problem with large injectors. With the LT1 it is going to space up the fuel rails. Since they are at an angle it is going to push the rails inward and I am not certain they will bolt to the intake.

Save yourself some headache and sell them and get real nozzles.

I had all the problems Dave described in the last post, and then some.
I will never go back to another 'under the injector' style nozzle, it wasan't worth it.

i had issues with mine for a little while, once i figured out i had to have the injector pointed perfect into the noszle, i was good to go and didnt have any more issues.
that was with the nos ones.

i then went to another brand and no matter what i did i could not get them right.
if you have the nos noszle system you can make it work well, if not, sell it for nozzles

You were not runningthe NX ones correct? My experience with NX ones are that they pull a vacumme but do not block injector flow.
