Default LT1 WOT switch differences

Apparently I went and used the universal mount for my WOT switch to mount my purge solenoid, so now I need to pick up a WOT bracket.

Why are some specific to BBK throttle bodies (which I have - 58mm) and some are not?

For instance Harris has one for the stock throttle body.

and one for the BBK

While Nitrous Outlet has one that just states it is for all LT1 except the Holley.

This might actually be the last thing keeping me from trying it out !! I'll likely fab something up (basdardize) for the time being, while I am waiting for something to ship.

Thanks,
Brad

I ended up making a pretty sturdy bracket, that comes out towards the front of the car.

The problem is it hits the throttle cover. It looks like Nitro Dave's bracket goes the opposite way, which would give me better clearance. I couldn't seem to fit it that way, without hitting the linkage. I could easily grind some clearance into the plastic throttle cover, but it's been airbrushed and I'd like to avoid it if possible.

Is anyone running the Nitro Dave bracket with a 58mm BBK throttle body? If so, how's it fit.

Thanks,
Brad

Down at the pedal seems like to easy a spot to mess up. At least on my car. Lots of carpet and sound deadener and of course there is always my clown feet to be banging it around.

The switch on the throttle body seems like a lot less chance of things getting bumped around.

You could always add a TPS activation switch and not run a microswitch at all.

these can be bought individually....

or includes with a window switch....

A TPS switch might be in the works down the road. Hopefully this will do the trick for now !!
