Position of nitrous solenoid?

Position of nitrous solenoid? I've seen them mounted in many different positions but am not sure if it is relevant. The spring in the solenoid should hold the plunger down regardless of it's position.
***EDIT*** and is heat a concern if they were mounted somewhere with little to no ventilation or somewhere near a heat source, say..a radiator...or both...

Basically ou have to think in two directions, imo. The firts is if the solenoid is mounted upside down, then the valves piston/mechanical movement is affected more by gravity. Second is even thoug the solenoid isn't on continuously, heat is always a factor in reqards to electrical coils. So make it eaier for the coil body to vent to prevent any future issues.
