Plugs for high cr 150shot sbc?
I have a 11.5:1 sbc and I am upping my shot to a 150whp shot, I need to know what plugs I should run. I only run 100 octane gas and I have a dui ignition system. DUI recommends to run a 0.55-0.60 gap also but I think with high cr and spray I should drop that down a lil bit. Any input would be very helpful.
Thanks-Jeremy

Calm down on the reply response...nobody here has to share any info..be patient.
I've been doing this...
NGK FR5 on motor @ .035
NGK R5671A-8 for 150 @ .028
*** ******-9 for 200hp @ .028
-10 for 200+
-7's looked too hot at even 150 level so -8 is the hottest I'd do for 150+ nitrous.
-7 might even be fine for driving+spraying.
FR5's might be alright also with good gas and safe timing.
Not sure what head you have but if you're really running a tappered seat plug, a TR6 is good for 150. A friend just ra 10's in a H/C LS1 at 11:1 with a 150 shot and TR6's..pump gas... but In a friends LS1 mustang we use Autolite 103's and he sprays 225, runs it N/A, etc...no probs there.
