Uh oh, what did I break?

I just finished installing a dry kit on a 2000 Z and when I went to start it up the gauges fuse blew, and it won't turn over. I think it's the starter, it's not cranking. The car has power, and I can hear the fuel pump. The kit I installed was a basic dry kit with a single solonoid. I've installed dozens of kits without any problems. The switch the guy wanted me to use was a funky kind and wasn't labeled, and I think I might have crossed the power and load. I'm guessing maybe that could have caused it to short the gauges fuse. Anyone else had any problems like this? I checked the fuse for the starter and it was fine but the starter won't crank. Any ideas? The only fuse that blew was the guage fuse.

i have had a similar prob. check the fuse that says "crank" i took me forever to figure this out.

i had my bottle heater line rub on my nitrous line and it arc'ed and took out the gauges and wouldnt start. it was a blown fuse on the side of the dash.
