Default walbro 255 pump...warranty??

well, everything is together but the damn fuel pump in my fuel cell is dead! once all the wiring was done we armed the system and no pump? checked voltage...yup,12 volts. disarmed, checked voltage...nope so the arm/disarm guage is working fine.
remove the pump from the cell, bench test...dead? check continuity? nothing!
hopefully it will get covered under warranty since its brand new.

i did learn a valuable lesson though. there is no way in hell the car will get sprayed without an electric fuel guage in the car so i know i have fuel pressure before i spray!!!

A FPSS would probably be a good idea too!

The autometer gauge works great, easy to log in EFI Live as well.

Here is the sending unit and FPSS

I have deleted the FPSS because the Trick Performance Black gauage has a AFR based lean/rich cutoff window.

I was able to send in a bad racetronixs pump in and get a new one, of course I had fuel logs to prove it was bad.

It is begining to look like that there might be a problem with some Walbro Pump these days. I was talking to one of our dealers that has gone through 4 in 3 cars in the last 2 months. Sorry to hear that the pump went bad.

Yep,
Walboro ran into an issue which pushed some questionable pumps out. True that they do not offer a warrenty. However in the situation like yours its obvious that the pump was bad from the get go. We will take care of you..
