How long does the nitrous last when you don't use it? Does nitrous go bad? Does leaving the bottle in the car make it last shorter?

Nitrous does not go bad. It does not have a shelf life. You want to store it in a place that is temperature stable. The dramatic changes in temperature will fluxuate the pressure and may possibly cause some condensation to form. If you live where it's hot, you really should think about the bottle pressure. If it can easily get to 100 degress inside the car I would suggest removing it. That can quickly build up bottle pressures higher than what you would want.

Just a few things to consider.

Mine lasts til its gone!

Cereally, I use about 1.7 lbs per run or somewhere close to it, and that makes for about 6-7 runs, yes my filler adds a little extra for those special occasions. So, a ten pound bottle of whoop *** lasts about a night of racing.
