cig lighter used for 12 volt?

if i use the lighter for my nitrous switch can i also use it for the purge or should i only use one switch on the lighter and find another for the purge? (the power is orange right i have my bat out and dont feel like putting it back in yet, to test)

NO you need a switch souce. ex. when you turn your key on, thats is a switch souce. The cig lighter is always on not a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to use the cig lighter for my heater back in the dumb days. All it does is pop the fuses in the dash, don't bother

I wouldn't recommend hooking it up to the cigarette lighter. I recommend running an add-a-fuse into the fuse block (make sure you're adding it to a switched fuse) and running the purge off of a relay.
