Yeah, no disrespect intended... I too have lost a few races on the backend....As for my ride which is a 4.0l quad cam v8 motor and 100 shot of nitro I get a ton of low rpm power, and lot's of torque when the juice is flowing.. So I am usually out in front in all my races..Good traction, dampening, LSD, rear weight, front end lifts a bit, etc.. However, it's a real challenge for me to keep some of those big boosted rides from passing me on the back half of 5those quarter mile races.. I feel ya....

How do you figure? A 383 LS1 car should make close to 500RWHP give or take 15hp either way. With a 200 shot on top of that I would think it would make damn close to 700RWHP.

Nice runs. Always fun to watch when its that close. But I bet it was even better being there

As far as the transmission goes "yes", however I am following concepts thoughts, as I have a 441 RWHP LS1 car, and its just a heads and cam car with bolt ons. A fully forged, and built 382 LS1 should easily make 500 to the wheels, even through a stalled auto, then add the 200 shot of juice, and I am thinking he is probably in the 700 RWHP range.

Agreed, as you well know, Scott and I have similar builds...difference being my M6 to his Auto (N/A of course) and a few other things. I was 484HP to the wheels on the old setup..with the new stuff, should be 500HP easy. Once the 200 shot is on it could/should be upwards of 700HP or so.
