Also are you hooked up through component (RGB) or HDMI? some tv's won't allow 1080p through component, more of the newer ones will but not a lot still.

that might be why, I have a 360 that doesnt have the HDMI connections so I had to use regular HD cables. I first bought the HDMI and was like um ok so where do I plug this in??????? then I went back to get the other HD cables and got back and was like hmmmm these look exactly like the one I already have. turns out I already had HD cables. how retarded is that ??

Yeah so your tv may not allow 1080p through component though the 360 does support it. 1080i will be just fine though.

one thing I will say about GOW 1 and 2 vs Halo I like the way Halo plays better, I hate how when you go to hide behind something on GOW or run or anything it seems you dont have much control of the guy like the computer seems to make you go where it wants rather then where you are trying to go where Halo you seem to move more freely. and when you want to run away after hiding you have to deal with the prompts telling you what buttons to push and it ends up slowing you down or doing something you aret tring to do. kinda annoying.

plus I turned on the game last night and while it was turning on I went to get something to eat and I came back and the game played itself past a checkpoint on its own.
