Local shops...
Local shops... im in the bothell/ snohomish area and I am looking for recommendations for motor work. Some of the shops I have used in the past are very unfamiliar with LS motors of any variety and if im going to invest some money into my first serious build, i want to use someone who can tell me what they think and give me there suggestions and tips, rather than me explaining to them what I read some guy on the internet did one time...
another thing im looking for is info about building big power with the vvt system in the L92. Obviously its something I dont understand well enough to know if I should retain it for a FI build or if I should ditch it. What I do know is that there is something to gain from it, but I cant get the idea out of my head that its just another set of parts in the motor to fail.

looking to have some motor work done on what I have now. I have a complete L92, oil pan to intake, and a long block also. Long block has 20k on it and 1 bad cylinder, the other is low miles also and has a bad cam/bent pushrod... so im going to start by assembling 1 to get it into my truck and then slowly build the second one for another swap.
