Looks like a lot of fun, gotta love the first time you fire an engine and then even better first time you get to go drive it. Did everything seem to work well, or got anything you have to work on besides maybe some tuning.

Cool man. I'm going to predict a 12.5-12.7 @ 116-117mph on that setup.

If things go well this week, I could be doing some shakedown passes in the black car on Friday night.

Well, I think that car/engine is capable of a low 12 at a good track, but we're talking about PIR here..... Add a half a second to whatever the car should run and that will be your PIR timeslip lol.....

Car's getting tuned sometime this week and I'm in the middle of tying up some loose ends. Need to bleed the clutch, bleed the brakes, install 2-step, and mount the tachometer.

thats a good point, it seems like every car runs slow at pir. i bet it feels good to have the black car going again, so you dide end up getting the 2 step, thats awesome you should get some good launches. everything just got finished on the blue car it just needs a tune now. do you think it would be unwise to run the car without a tune? i guess tsp said "no tuning required on the 228R"
