I've had Somers Machine do most of my machine work over the years. Archie (the owner) has a really good reputation for building some mega hp engines in this area also. They have an engine dyno and flow bench for testing cylinder heads. Archie handles the engine work, and Dennis does the cylinder head stuff. They're located here in Vancouver, Washington.

Tabors machine comes highly recomended by alot of people, but I haven't had them do any work personally.

Talk to Darren at BritCo. He is a quality engine builder in the West Sound area. He can go over your engine plans and designs.

vote 2 for Britco he did my 87 irocz engine (its still not running but its not his fault) & he has done several of my brother in laws engines. He will also have my son's truck engine as soon as we are ready for it.

I'll give Britco the big "FAIL". The royally messed up some engine bearing tolerances on a buddies 383 stroker engine.
