apparently the goal for the tsunami is to put out the power of a larger duration cam without the addes duration. so its sposed to make more power than the ms3 and 4. and the low end seems to be pretty good from what i have researched.

I'm stuck with what future HP mods I wanna do. I'm thinking Texas Speeds Stage 2.5 5.3L heads and a small emissions camshaft. I don't want anything to radical nor do I need something with a ton of top end. Something streetable, smog friendly that pulls hard through out the entire powerband. Even a valve Train upgrade and a 100 shot would do me good

I'd start checking the (seat/open) pressures at 10k miles with that much lift. Once they start to go bad you can run into ptv contact real quick.

What are your goals/plans with the car? Is it a DD or just for a cruise/track now and then? How many miles on the car?

my goals are to run mid to low 11's and have at least 450whp. car is not a DD, its just for the track, cruise days going to car shows etc... it currently has 60,000 miles on the clock

Awesome vid man, thanks for sharing.

As long as the bottom end of the engine is in good condition with no abnormal wear, mileage isn't really a concern. I'd take a high mileage bottom end in good condition anyday over a low mileage motor that was put together wrong. My last 387 shortblock is a prime example of that. It had,,, maybe 2500 miles total on the shortblock before the rod decided it didn't want to play anymore, and no, I did not assemble that shortblock. I have MTI Houston to thank for that one.... Thankfully they're not in business anymore for the reasons listed.....

Wonder how much money he spent to be differnt.
Probably to much.lol

yeah cartek has, I think some good pkg deals. Heads, cam, double roller, wires, plugs and some other stuff for, I think 2,800. I haven't priced it all out sperate but might be a deal that's worth it?

Should check out there site
