Lt1 under drive pulleys

Lt1 under drive pulleys OK so I put them on only to loose ALOT of my amps. Is this correct? Will it be safe to go to my stock ALT pulley or since the crank is so much smaller with I run the risk of over charge? Or is this just a sign that my alternator is getting weak? Over all just don't want to keep chasing my tail.

Said screw it. Im selling the ALT pulley. If your close and interested let me know. I posted a add on craigslist. Im in Vancouver so look up the heading"LT1 underdrive ALT pulley" Thanks
