to not get rid of the car! lol ugh i understand what you mean about dumping money into the car... i just got my car a lil over 2 months ago and have dropped almost 4000 into it since then :-/ but god i love this car lol... and the gto's are pretty sweet thats no lie... but i think the f bodys just look so naughty i say keep it... but i got a truck if you want it

thats a cool list of cars, especially the chevy trucks, i love the 1980s style chevys. my first rig was a 1983 gmc jimmy deisel with a 6.2 litre deisel

thats what i like about the fbodys, they do look nasty. the gtos are kinda plain looking. im gonna hold off on a truck for now i think...

man id love to have seen that k5 mike, i had a 86 k5 350 700r4 35's stock gears the thing was a pig but it was the most fun in the summer time take the top off and just haul *** everywhere listning to poison and motley cru.

Thanks Joe. Out of all those, I probably miss my 82 GMC the most. Had a lot of great memories in that truck. I miss the 240Z too,,,, fun little car.

ya the fbodys are so nice looking and there just mean when you can see the tail lights creeping up in your rear view mirror ... and ya im gonna just turn my camaro into my dd after i get it back from the shop... im gonna just enjoy the car for awhile before i put a bunch of money into it... and im fixing up a street bike i found wrecked in a junk yard... so the car once driving will b that way for awhile until i can save up for a new tranny. But i know im never gonna get rid of mine. Its my baby! lol

i always wanted to keep mine forever too. but i have decided on my next list of mods, gonna upgrade to 11 inch tt2s for the rear, do a charcoal or black manta stripe and get a satin black berger panel. i wont have to spend a but ton of money that way, and my visual mods will be complete

Hey bro just keeeeeeeeep the car!!!!! You have a stout ride for now. Just put it on hold tell you get the urge to put more money into it.. Think about this. If you get a GTO your going to put more money into it cause it won't be nearly as fast as your SS. And paint wise, talk to freefallin!!!

you would smoke it for now but u can stroke a ls2 to 402 ci. and u can have duals without sacrificing ride hieght. i probly will end up geting a gto someday, the only thing i dont like about them is they are too plain. fbodys look wicked. turk did you get your cam in yet? cuz if so i think we need to have a race here soon

Joe here is what you need.


Why would you get rid of your car for a GTO and then modify it? Why not keep your car and de-tune it? Sorry things are going the way they are.

Joe check out Tmoneys hood I just did. I also did his Berger panel. He went with gloss but the satin is nice too. The manta strip is a pain in the arss. I think moneys came out pretty good.

i kinda hope my car is about as nice as yours in slayer... im hoping to get about 425 or a lil more with what i have done to it... i know its pushing it but i reallr just want the 400 range and then im gonna chill on the mods for awhile...

well my car isent really that nice anymore, the carpet is trashed, and i never wash it, the interior smells bad like mildew. you should have 42x hp easily. i see you have heads and a cam, i think you would make at least that or more.

Ya i got the stage 3's going in now with the comp cam and the fast intake with the better throttle body... And 3.42's in the rear... And my lt's. I hope to hit 400 then i have to get tranny, and suspension... Then the power adder

so are you a m6 or a4? if your an m6 you should probly see about 450+ to the wheels, maybe more? u do have that fast intake and throttle body. and whatpower adder are u goin with ? is your cam built for boost?
