Did I say prep?

Actually, on Fridays, they give it a decent spray before the racing starts. And there aren't that many cars running, so the track stays pretty good.
On Sat, it was clear they didn't spray. But did gold dust for the FWD cars....rather puzzling.

I actually dead hooked both nights. Not every run though. For street rubber....it's probably better if they don't prep.

Anyway, I go to continue to lear what the car does and doesn't like for tuning. I'm really good at slowing it down....

Woodburn is another option, but if you break...well...you are in Woodburn!

That's been my motto for a long time. I live in Vancouver so the tow home from Woodburn from a breakage would have been big dollars...

Ron, your car would have been a great match up for mine back when I was running several years ago. Mines a stick car so I know all too well about non-existent track prep at PIR.....

Yeah, I think it was HUNW. I wanted to run in the 10.50 index class but constant parts breakages and being unemployed at the time didn't go well together. What happened to HUNW?

Blowed up!

I think the rules changes to allow more cars brought out the people with tons of money to spend and they paid shops to build cars us little folks didn't have a chance against. So 2-3 cars were a second quicker than the rest of us and the fun factor died.
Also, no leadership.
And the economy tanked as well.

Same story up north I hear.

Yeah everything took a hit when the economy tanked. Never thought I would have been out of work that long. Starting to get back on my feet again but its been a shity ride.
