Codes i need to FIX...HELP! Ok guys need some help. Got 2 codes i need help with B0026, driver frontal deployment loop open and U1040 loss of comunication with ABS. I believe the codes are related to each other. I have changed out the ABS block from another 2000 camaro SS, still the same code. I have power and ground to the connector. Can someone show me a pinout to the block to the PCM please? Where do i start to restore communication? I tried to scan it and it could not connect, i had to go thru the airbag code to find the ABS code. I have many lights on the dash lit...ABS INOP, brake light, service vehicle lite, airbag light. First thing I would do is check all the grounds in the engine bay. A loose ground will light up a dash like a Christmas tree.
Any decent manual should have electrical schematics for tracing out lines. You might be able to find specific pinouts with a Google search.
