MX Racing results
No hardware this weekend but had a great time.
I came home from work Friday night to load up only to find a couple boys watching TV and no chores completed. Informed them that we wouldn't be racing this weekend. I woke up about 3:00 AM (us old guys got to get up to pee, don't laugh you young studs will get there.) Anyways I'm thinking I've worked hard this week why am I being punished, so I loaded up and drove to the races myself. I took my teenagers new motorcycle, Yamaha YZ 250F 250cc Fourstroke revs out at about 13,500 RPM, I have similar bike 426cc kinda like small block vs big block, my bike has alot more torque but also weighs about 40lbs. more. I had a blast riding that bike generally when I see the white flag I am pretty relieved that I 've only got one more lap, not so on that bike I was like no a couple more laps and I can catch the leaders.
Race results Moto one: I was in second then stalled the bike going into a corner right in front of our camp no less , went from second to last then worked back to sixth. Moto two I am in third then crashed again right in front of our camp, back in last place worked back up to fifth. Working your way up thought riders is a blast I'am sure the roadracing guys would agree catching the guy in front of you planning a pass and making it stick is just good fun.

Sounds like you had fun Steve. Glad you made it back in 1 piece OLD man! At our age it's more about surviving the race than winning.

I almost fell off my chair laughing at that one...... I grew up with 2 brothers
Now I've got a house full of barking spiders, not to mention the hubby, and the 18-year-old son
Seriously though it sound like a fun day Steve!

We'd have a great time and I sure you and your son would be hitting BIG AIR by the end of the day.
