Hey just wondering if Shaun does exaust work too? I'm getting some used headers that may require a little mod and a h-pipe connection. So it would be nice to just pay someone to install them and modify the h-pipe all at once.....

I don't think he'd have a problem installing headers and such... he installed my y-pipe which required a little bit of cutting/welding to get it to fit right.

Nope thats actually what I meant if they are TPIS headers then I can buy a Random tech off road x pipe and bolt it up myself. If they aren't then I'm probably going to have to have a x-pipe custom made, or buy the random tech and have it modified but I think that would be expensive. I'm really hoping that after I get then I can verify the brand!!!

I heard that an H pipe gives a better muscle car sound, while an X-Pipe is better for performance. Any truth to this?

I think in a Vette the main difference is sound the X-pipe is supposed to quiet down the gurgling. It makes sense that an X-pipe would flow a little better while providing balance, but is this going to make a noticeable difference in HP????

Well if you don't wanna go all the way to Seattle actually north of Seattle you can come out here to Mikey's Muffler in Hood river. Does great work.

He did my exhaust and I get a lot of guys asking me who did my Y pipe when they see it!

Just a suggestion!
