Okie dokie. I will see what I can do. Maybe just take 2 cars out to the island tomorrow and bail around 1ish.......I know they are meeting a contractor out there to get an estimate for building their house so I am fairly sure I would be bored poop-less standing around in the cold/rain while they go over all the BS

Sorry I missed y'all. I was by the Ferry Boat line I left for the Ferry at about 1:30 (from Whidbey) and when I got towards the waiting area, the line was backed up past the 2 hour wait line mark. And since I don't know the "other" way off the island, I was kinda stuck and ended up going back over to where my folks were and having a late lunch with them...... Hopefully next trip out (Xmas time) will be less disasterous. Hope you guys had a good time and drooled at the Hooter's chicks extra for me.

All I was able to find out was that they're unsure whether it was the dad or the son I guess but it was at PR for sure. The thread on the BMW forums was deleted or somethin.

For the sons sake we better hope it was the dad . Looks like it took a severe beating alright. That would really hurt the 'ole pocketbook wouldn't it ? I almost wrecked my T/A out there one day, but I was only going 80 mph or so coming out of T9 (onto the front straight) when I did. It looks like he lost it right at T1 which is a bad, bad place to lose control because if you've done everything right up to that point your going 135 mph or close to it

Scratch 1 Ferrari. Damn, that thing is totaled....I'd be crying!!!

Yet another illustration why I am leery of doing that road race stuff. It might be more fun like everyone says, but when was the last time someone did that to their car drag racing in our bracket? That makes breaking a tranny or rear end look very good!

And trust me Rott, we drooled enough for everyone. Very nice selection last night! Sorry you didn't make it. Good turn out tho...about 8 showed....fun time. Nice to meet you Dave!

Maybe Ellis could hold quarterly Team NW meetings there?

Yes, I had a good time too. It was great to see everyone show up who was able to make it. The carbonated beverage was great and the gals looked great too (both before AND after the beer).

Didn't take as many pics as I was hoping too... Was too distracted by the girls most of the time.

It was good to see everybody last night. Met a few new faces . Car people are just good people aren't they ?! I didn't even think I was going until I jumped into my car for a quick cruise and then remembered mid-cruise that you guys were meeting where the pretty girls are .... the next thing I knew Mark was pouring me a beer haha !

Nice to meet you Dave, hope to see you again.

Man, seeing you guys makes me feel like a young'un!

Heh, seems like I'm gone for all the good stuff. Anyways, would anyone like to point out who's who in the pics so I can match a face to the names I see here on LS1Tech?

BTW- Is that Hooters haunted? Looks like you captured a "ghost" in that first pic.
