almost there... So I've not told a story on here in a long time...so, as some of you know, car's been down for a few weeks here...got a smokin deal on a Turbo Tech T-66 kit, just couldn't pass it up. So I figured I'd take the motor out, put ARP rod bolts and head studs in, stock 6.0L heads to give me a 9.6:1 compression, custom ordered a cam from Cam Motion down in Louisiana, Racetronix fuel pump, 42lb injectors, and a bunch of miscellaneous other stuff. Let me tell you what...what a pain in the butt this has been! Lol...seems like one thing after another doesn't fit juuussst quite right...gotta grind some here, drill some there, use the plasma cutter here, do some welding there...arrr!!! Heh...anyway, I was in the home stretch tonight...finished under the car, finishing wiring and hooking stuff up, drop radiator in, put fans in, only to find that the inlet elbow for the turbo will not fit between the fans and turbo. (turbo is located where alternator was, alternator is now right above tensioner. That was all I had left was drop fans in, fill radiator with water and turn the key. Nuts! I think I'm gonna go buy an el-cheapo electric fan to stick in there for now, just to get it running. Then I leave here at 430 Saturday morning to fly home to Ohio for 2 weeks...timing just isn't on my side this time...but it should be worth it. This car had better freakin fly! Lol. It's been a learning experience. My advise to any who wish to put a turbo on their car, you're gonna need lots and lots of time and patience...lol...anyway, that's my story.
