Hi Brad! My name is Eric. I use to live in Sugarland, TX. Get use to the scene being a lot less active up here. Cruise spots suck ***, not many f-bodies either. The mustang guys seem to be the hard core ones that travel in packs, do cruises and go racing. Now that I have completely depressed you the little group we have here is pretty active and tight. Always looking for new blood. Welcome and hopefully we can all hook up soon.

Hey Brad,
I am Tammy. There is alot of Activities around here for the Fbodies (well Camaros mainly) if you know where to look.

Northwest Racers & PNWCC (Pacific Northwest Camaro club) are both very active clubs. both are in to the racing sites & Cruise spots are a plus if you know where to look & know people who know where to go.

Hey brad it is not as depressing as Ram-it makes it out He is just going through withdrawls about loosing the Nascar track

To be honest the Scene here is not as hot as H-town or Chi-town but the imports brought that on. A few years ago it was not hard to go find some hard core racing at night. That has all been driven under gruond now.

Nothing like wheels up racing on the street!

Welcome! You'll see a lot more meets, activities, and racing once the cold & rainy stuff stops in about 3 months. In the off-season, we just tend to meet up once in a while to BS or install mods... or both.

Ram-It dont take this wrong, those that know me know I am very active with the car clubs I am with.

If you dont think there is enough out there to do, then get a bunch of your friends together & go do something. If you want to join a club & they dont do enough for you you have two options: step forward & do things or start your own club.

The only way to get things moving sometimes is to start them moving yourself.
Good luck & if you looking for things to do PNWCC just planned our club's members lives for the next year & that is pretty busy.

You guys take what I say the wrong way. Coming from the south the NW sucks when it comes to the car scene period. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Plus there is nothing that I can do to change that fact. I have tried the local clubs for the cars that I have and they do not hold a candle to the clubs I was in back in Florida and Alabama. And if I am so wrong with my statement how come everyone here acknowledges the street scene in Houston? Believe me, you go once and you'll never forget it.

Eric, I HAVE been to all the places you listed. Not just for a visit but to LIVE.

I was not as impressed as you are with them

The biggest factor here is weather and people who hate cars. There is alot of racing here and in just about every form you can think of.

If you tries a little you would have some thing to do here every weekend of the year

BTW you ever thought you telling us Over and over and over again what a crappy state we have MIGHT influence the way people feel? I know every time you tell me what a piece of **** state I am from it hits a nerve

Then again that is just me and most the people here. not many

I under stand you are from there and it is home. i respect the hell out of that...maybe give us the same respect?

So when did you live in Houston? That place has had a hot car scene for late models since around '97. The tuners in that area are second to none. F-bodies are all over down there. You could have been hanging out in the boonies for all I know. Racing at the track does not make a place the hot to me. Name one good cruise spot up here on a Friday and Saturday night? Taco Time in Lynnwood was the best but its now gone. Clearview? Please that sucks too!

You said the magic words. The weather and people who hate cars. Could not have said it better myself. Therefore, the car scene up here sucks *** in my book. Even the great GMHTP mag said that there is no real reason for them to come out here for any articles. Does that make this state a piece of ****? Don't think I ever said that anywhere did I? Take it for what you will. I can still hold my own opinion.

Yeah as a native Houston-ian misplaced by the navy also i can tell you that it's not the same scene. but theres also a lot of things that make up for it. Beautiful scenary, clean air, water you can actually drink, and windy backroads. It's kind of a bummer you're not in oak harbor though man otherwise you'd be helping me install my cam when it arrives. woohoo.
