Engine to be going to shop soon

Well went down to talk to the guys who are going to do my engine today & its not going to be as bad as I thought it was going to be. Only $1500 + taxes & thats including almost everything to make the engine a short block including boring it .010 over to make it a 355, The only things I need is the Crank Shaft & the Connecting rods from Ellis lol (which reminds me Ellis are you coming down to the swapmeet on sunday (the 13th???))

I have all the money I need now for the short block just have to decide on which heads & Cam I want to make the power & to finish it all off.

Can I ask where you are getting the work done as I am also looking for a local shop in the south end if possible.

We are having it done at britco engines They are in Centralia, next to the RR tracks.

They did my brother in laws engine as well.

Thanks for the info. Also, I guess I should have asked first as I just noticed you have several cars in the stable, but do they work on F & Y body cars with Gen III LSx motors?
