Geez, ANOTHER snake on our site....where's St Patrick when you need him?

J/K, I happen to like Cobras. I have a good friend in the Mustang NW Club. If I wasn't such a die-hard Chevy guy, I'd probably own a snake. In fact the reason we ruled them out when we bought our TA was the tiny back seat. It's bad enough making someone sit in ours.

Anyway, I live in M-sville, so I'm just down the road. Your car looks like one I've seen.....maybe @ Mike's Mustang? You can go to my website to see our car. It's red, lowered, loud, & lumpy sounding. Feel free to show up at one of our gatherings. One of your brethren did today in his white Cobra. Loved the whine btw...until the MAF pegged & it cutout.

And a couple of our regulars lives up there by you. Our fastest road racer to date (172 mph) and maybe our fastest 1/4 car....maybe. Time will tell, but it could run 10s this year.

Anyway, welcome. All hot rods are cool to me.

Mark

Is that you Steven ? Do you remember me ? You took pictures of my car when it was brand new by the river in Conway in early '01. I don't think I've seen you since that day. If you check into my website I still have those pictures up I saw your car on Sunday, but didn't know it was you or I'd have stopped to talk with you ... oh well next time. What kind of times did you run ? I wasn't in my T/A on Sunday I was driving a blue with black stripes '71 Z28. Did you see that car ?

Yup, that was me, but my name is Douglas I do remember taking those pictures, I love your car

I don't recall seeing it. Where you running and in what class?

I ran 14.8/14.9 in the 93/94 mph range, which is pretty good for a stock 305 5-speed w/ 144k on the clock. I was expecting 15.5 in the high 80s.

Oooops Sorry Douglas lol ! it's been a long time huh ? Plus I'm old and can't even remember my last piece of *** I have an assortment of other excuses available upon request I was just running TnT. I made all of my runs except for one before noon. It got too busy later on What have you been up too ? Still living in Stanwood ?
BTW 14.8 is not bad at all for that car, you must be driving the crap out of it huh ?! Haha ! Do you ever take your '00 down there ? I'm hoping to make it back down on the 27th for another try at it, maybe I'll see you there ? Nice to hear from you again.

LOL, its cool. Yeah, it has been a long while. The problem with sitting in that line all day is that I didn't see half the cars there.

I've never taken my 00 to PR, always go to Mission Raceway. I've managed a 13.42 at 107, which is a horrible time for the MPH. I've got some Nitto 555R Drag Radials to help with that, plus some other stuff coming. Gotta keep ahead of my friends SRT-4 (13.30 at 108 best time for him). Need the Driver mod

hehe yeah we sat and chatted a bit while waiting for the line to move... next time I'll have some bushings replaced by then and hopefully do a lil better.

Another Cobra owner up in Marysville. I cruised out with my room-mate ( he drives a NBM 2000 Z28) to burger master in Mill Creek. Lots of great guys and NICE Ls1's.

Don't let Rick scare ya, he's slow.................
