Default Six days drivable and breaks again.

Well needless to say i got my car up and running last wednesday night. It was sweet. Pulled like a raped ape and idled suprisingly well considering i was on a stock tune.

Well last night driving to mt vernon i start hearing a ticking noise coming from the driver's side of the motor, but the car doesn't feel down on power at all. So I pull it into a gas station and check all the small stuff, plug wires and etc. Nothing out of the ordinary, so i fill her up and take off on my way.

Well today i am driving around town taking it easy and while on my way to NAPA the car starts stumbling and loses power.

I double check everything under the hood and pull off the driver's side valve cover and everything looks good. I will probably pull the pushrods tomorrow before work just for *****, but im pretty damn sure i collapsed a lifter.

Just thought I'd vent after not having the car driveable for 9 months, get it on the road and have something like this happen.

Well that's crappy... hopefully you get that working soon. Setbacks suck!

If you still want that master cylinder, let me know... $20, and I can ship it to you for an extra $5. PM me and I'll send you my paypal address. Either that, or we can do the exchange sometime if you plan on going to the track for a TnT or if you come to another event (dyno day, Hooters gtg, etc).

yeah im well aware that i have to pull heads...i've had them on and off the car quite a few times now...i guess i should invest in some reuseable head gaskets.
